My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I helped teach a couple of the 5th grade classes at Washington Elementary School.

I am almost finished at Cleveland Community College with my teacher degree in childhood education for children with special needs. I have more then 6 years of college education under my belt because I love to learn, and also because all the different possible courses that a person can take at a community college. I am a Mechanical Engineering and Geology dual major with a 3.6 GPA. I understand mathematics very well and have tutored fellow students in math and physics, successfully for years. Hands on- creative-student centered learning!

I think that a lot of learning happens by students being actively engaged in what they are learning. I try to get/make hands on activities for students to learn.
