As a special education teacher, I have experience in a variety of settings such as alternative education, partial hospitalization programs, and autistic support programs. I currently teach high school autistic support students in a classroom based program. I have tutored for a private facility as well as through a school district after school program.
As a teacher, my goal is to touch and help the future. I am very creative and pride myself on thinking outside of the box, in order to instruct my students in a non-typical style if necessary. As a Penn State graduate, I was motivated to achieve a high level of excellence in my teaching career. I maintained my standing on the Dean's List all eight semesters of my college career and received numerous scholarships and awards. I was chosen as one of the 56 Penn State Elementary Education majors to participate in the Professional Development School (PDS), a year long, full-time student teaching internship in collaboration with the State College Area School District. A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children of all ages and abilities and helping them with academics. I don't believe I have a specific teaching style. I know that I have to be flexible and creative with each student. Everyone learns differently, and I feel it is my obligation to find what works for each child. I do belive in providing hands on and real life scenarios when teaching.
I have been very successful in academics throughout my education. I was valedictorian of my high school, and I received the top honors in English, French, and Accounting. I also maintained a 4.0 average throughout my college education.
