I have always enjoyed working with people. Knowing that all people have the capacity to learn, I believe that it is only a matter of finding a way to for the student to be able to relate to the content material. I also believe that the best way for students to learn business material is through real life situations and simulations. In doing it this way the students learn how to deal with real life situations, and also learn skills that will be directly applicable to the working world. After graduating with a mathematics undergraduate degree in 1998, I have continued to study all areas of mathematics for the last 12 years. I have passed numerous actuarial exams that cover advanced mathematic topics as well as becoming a charterholder in the CFA Institute in 2009. I would love the opportunity to pass on my enjoyment of mathematics to others. I tutored extensively during my college years and feel I have a lot to offer the students of today.
I enjoy teaching and working with all children. I grew up as a teacher's son and now I am a teacher's husband so I have experience exploring different methods to help children learn.
