I have a very hands on approach because I worked with small children. I believe children learn by doing. If they are interested, you won't have behavior issues. I spent one year as a day to day substitute teacher working all over York County in various special education classrooms. My second year was spent as a long term substitute at an alternative high school for boys where I taught all subjects. My third year I started teaching Specialized Preschool and did this for many years until I retired last year. My students had many exceptionalities.
