Then, I establish a baseline of what they have learned so that I can direct my attention to their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, I get into the material with the student and show them how and why the material is important and applicable in the world in which we live.
I have served as a substitute teacher in Hayward, CA for 1 1/2 years. I worked as a tutor for Learning & Loving It in San Jose, CA for 3 years. I served as a tutor and teacher of adult education in Loganville, GA for 1 year. I am currently on the substitute teacher roster for the Vicksburg School District, and I have been so for two years.

After graduated with a BS in Agriculture Economics from Alcorn State University in May 2000, I have worked as an Agricultural Statistician for the National Agricultural Statistics Service. While working with NASS, I have taking a creative writing class to improve my writing ability. I have also taking Calculus I, II, and III to build on my math skills. I am on track to receive a master’s in Management at Belhaven University in July of 2010. During the past 10 years I have tutored students in mathematics at the college, high school, and elementary levels.

During my college experience at Mercer University, I worked as a student worker in the university's Stetson School of Business and Economics. In this position, I generally handled the office duties at the front main desk. However, my primary duty as one of the student workers was acting as a personal assistant for a professor assigned to me. For the three years I worked, I was assigned to the professor of finance and mostly graded homework assignments and exams. Because I was an accounting major, I also completed similar assignments for accounting professors to a smaller scale.
