I am a student willing to be a teacher

I am currently a high school senior, I have made good grades in all of my classes, my GPA is 3.0. I tutor my brother and some of his friends, I take concurrent college classes and am enrolled in my 2nd year of Indian Capitol Technology Center. I am very good at getting ideas and teaching kids the things they have learned in a simple student to student fashion.

A Little Bit About Me...

Deep in the heart of Texas, I earned my English degree at a small college. I was only 21 years old and intimidated by the classroom, so instead of teaching, I entered the workforce. Now I am attending the English Graduate School at OSU, and am excited about teaching students on an individual basis. For the past 13 years I have volunteered at my children’s small school as a piano, music and art history teacher. Most recently, I have been substitute teaching at Bristow Middle School. A Little Bit About Me...

In 2006, I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education K- 8th grades. My cognate was concentrated in the Socials Studies areas. I have a great love of history and always traveling to learn more about interesting parts of the country. After graduation, I taught Commercial Science grades 6th thru 8th in a middle school. I have taught computers for the past two years in the same school. I have also substituted in all grades and all subjects.
I feel that all students learn differently and for that my teaching styles vary. I am a visual person so; I that all children can learn when shown examples of what I am trying to teach them.
