I have been in the educational field for over 15 years as a tutor, aide, and a classroom teacher. I have a degree in Food and Nutrition which contained many credit hours of science. In fact, my adviser wanted my to minor in Science because of all of my credits. I have taken 12 credit hours of Biology, 12 credit hours of Chemistry, and 9 credit hours of Anatomy and Physiology. All of these courses had laboratory classes, as well as, lectures. I also have a degree in elementary Education. I am currently working on my Masters in Counseling.

While obtaining my Bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri, along with being a competitive gymnast, I worked for the Total Person Program in the atheltic department tutoring and mentoring student-athletes in many subjects. I have a passion for working with children and watching them learn, grow, and succeed at tasks. I have 10 years experience coaching gymnastics and working with children from infant to high school age. I am very determined and driven to complete my education in the field on Psychology and then move on the Medical School. Being a Psychology Major has taught me intensive research and presentation skills and has allowed me to be critical and analytic from a scientific point of view.
