Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored everyone from first graders to high-achieving Duke students. While no student learns in exactly the same way, I've found that being patient and outgoing, providing a relaxed environment and being a strong listener are all important traits that help me bring out a student's potential.
I have been a tutor since high school, when I taught my classmates as a way to earn money for a Nintendo. I loved helping my friends succeed, so when I went to Duke University I continued to tutor my classmates through the Peer Tutoring Program. My zeal for tutoring even extended over the summer, when I would tutor fellow campers as they prepared for their Bar Mitzvah.
