I'm a strong believer in the Gardner's ideas of many different learning styles and types of intelligent. Some students are better audio, tactile, or visual learners. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching Biology and Physical Science for the past 6 years at a very competitive private high school. I have a degree in Biology with an emphasis on Secondary Education. As well as teaching high school for the last 6 years, I have also taught at the local College for Kids summer program. At this program I was the instructor for invertebrate dissection. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe the best way to learn is peer-to-peer learning. As an auto-didact I have the study skills necessary to regurgitate information as taught by the current institutional models. This is an uncreative and highly unnatural way to learn. There's a reason no major discovery was made in a classroom -- true innovation, discovery and learning is an organic process.
I'm a student at Augustana College whose academic record has ranged from public school to home schooling to community college and and even private education. I've worked as a tutor for over 2 years at Black Hawk College, at the same time obtaining an Associates Degree.
