Genetics is one of my top subjects! I have a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Genetics from Texas A&M University.

I teach at a University full time. My experience ranges from traditional students, to special education students, and many non-traditional students (such as those adult students working full time and raising families). I enjoy making science accessible to everyone because the subject is truly fun!
I prefer to teach with open dialogue. Feedback and discussion is one of the most solid methods for evaluating comprehension. If I see that subject comprehension is lacking or missing, it is my challenge to re-present the material for the student (as many times as it takes!).

School and studies have been the center of my life. Learning never ends. Graduating as a top student with high honors didn't come easy. I worked hard and studied to accomplish my goals. After acquiring my bachelors degree in nursing, I got offers to tutor students who were still in nursing school and others who were taking other science courses. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Texas Southern University, where excellence is our motto, I was driven to acheive excellence in biology. I earned my BS in Biology in December of 2009, which has enabled me to gain understanding in science and math. I currently work as a professional science/health writer, and I have a keen grasp of literature comprehension, grammar, and composition. I have tutored students in English, math, and science.
