I am a college student at Coastal Carolina University. Willing to help anyone that needs tutoring. I am a junior studying Biological Chemistry. I am knowledgeable in many different fields besides science. Every subject I've listed I can teach to anyone willing to learn. I am a local from the area so I have a good understanding of the curriculum in the Horry county school system. I am able to teach any (k-12) material. My teaching style is different for every person. I have always been a math person, even as a little kid. I am currently attending Francis Marion University and double majoring in Mathematics and Finance. In the spring of 2014 I will be taking Calculus III and Multivariable Calculus. I tutor my friends and they love the way I teach compared to their professors or instructors. If I do not initially know how to solve a problem, it will take me a few minutes to learn it, provided that there are notes available. I have also been into music for the past 9 years. I have a love of working with especially young children. I feel that children want to learn. I believe that children will learn through immersion in music and mass media. My teaching motto is simple, practice makes perfect. The more you practice solving physics problems the easier it gets. Furthermore, I believe if one is having a tough time solving the problems, one must understand the physical concepts and be comfortable with the mathematics required to solve the problems. As a graduate student at Rice University, I taught labs for the undergraduate students and was also an exam grader. Furthermore, upon the completion of my doctorate degree in physics, I taught physics for six and a half years at the university level. Following this, I taught mathematics on the high school level and have been a tutor on the high school and middle school level. Thus, I have several years of experience in a teaching or tutoring capacity.
