I have been studying Spanish since I was in the 6th grade and went on to become the President of the Spanish National Honors Society while I was in High School. While in High School, I developed a love for the language and all of the different cultures of the Spanish speaking world. I went on to major in Spanish at Bridgewater College and I was very active with the Latino population on campus and in the community. I went on to further my knowledge by studying abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico and in Barcelona, Spain. Having been devoted to the welfare of children and families and valuing education highly throughout my life, I find tutoring a satisfying occupation. After vounteering my services for many years, I attained formal degrees in education, psychology, and counseling, with very high GPAs. I taught psychology and sociology for several years and have also tutored K-college individually and in groups for many years. Recognizing that each person has his/her own learning style, I emphasize "application" of material learned.
