My teaching style is best described as modern Socratic method. Questioning to elicit critical thinking is the essence of education. Many of my students have thanked me in later years for teaching the principles of clarity, simplicity, brevity and humanity in writing, as those principles haave led to job promotions and advanced degrees.
As a college English professor and high school English teacher with an MA in English, I have had the opportunity to help many young people improve their writing and critical thinking skills. I love teaching. Whenever a friend needed help, I was always there to help them out with their school work. I am a good tutor and I'm patient and considerate. My goal is always to make sure that they understand the subject rather than just having them complete homework.
I have earned a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and working on my Master's degree in Engineering Management. Both degrees have helped me gain knowledge in math, science and in information technology. My grammatical skills are good due to writing a lot of research papers and lab reports. In my spare time, I had help other friends in the subject of math of different levels, from college algebra to Calculus III.
