I have a relaxed, stress-free teaching style, while staying on task and topic. I make sure the pupils really understand the material by breaking things down to the basics, and reviewing the foundations. Anatomy is one of my top subjects! Have had both undergraduate and medical school level of education related to anatomical science including cadaver lab. Have tutored first year med students as well as undergraduates. Have performed hundreds of surgeries as a surgical resident.

Having fun is a requirement. Learning in an environment where stress is taken out of the equation is paramount to retention of knowledge and key to success. I utilize anecdotal methods to convey concepts so that a student can relate the knowledge to how it fits into their own life or past experience.I try to get around rote learning when possible. However, when pure memorization is unavoidable, I have methods to incorporate that are tried and true and still hinge on the foundation of using anecdot. See one, do one, teach one is also another way I like to use. The student sees/learns, then does/uses what they've learned, and finally teaches the information back to me and/or someone else.
