My teaching style would be best described as creative and improvisational. Because I work with students from such varied backgrounds, I believe that the best method is one that allows for flexibility and at the same time incorporates lessons from several fields at once. For example, in both my GED and ESOL courses I incorporate music into my lesson plans. I find that music is an excellent avenue to explore contemporary topics that can then lead to essay topics. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is geared more towards each individual child. Some are auditory learners, some learn just by watching and still others require tactile stimulation in order to learn. I generally use a combination of all three focusing on the one that is strongest for each individual child. I believe with patience and understanding all children can and will learn.
