I have always enjoyed tutoring children; in high school, I actively participated in a youth tutoring program, but I also feel very comfortable tutoring older students and adults. Growing up as a bilingual child I spoke Portuguese and English at home. In 4th grade I had exchange students from Spain who lived in my home and I was beginning to learn my third language, Spanish. I knew Spanish was in my future when I became to interested in the culture and language. I have become a Spanish teacher and LOVE going to work everyday. I find it an incredible experience to share my interest with many students and I challenege myself to get them to appreciate the many aspects of the culture and language.
