As an instructor at Minnesota School of Business, I taught composition, business writing, technical writing, English grammar, and communication theory to adult students of all ages and a wide variety of backgrounds, including many ESL students. In a class of 20 students, writing ability ranged from negligible to excellent, so it was a challenge to keep all of them interested and to ensure improvement across the board.
