Teaching and tutoring are two different entities. If the teacher meets a great number of students in a large room, the tutor works one-on-one in a quiet place. Honors High School Graduate with experience in teaching

My lessons can range from private lessons to group lessons of no more than five at one time. I prefer to be very involved in my students' progress, and will readily explain any questions that they do not understand. My main strategy is basically to lay out the concepts that will be covered that day, go over several practice problems, and give three or four practice problems for the students to work on independently. For art students, I will demonstrate with explanation the concept that we will be covering in that lesson (be it portraiture basics or still life basics), draw diagrams with the steps clearly labeled, and have the student independently work on a similar piece which applies the same concepts. I will supervise the student's progress and correct any lasting errors, but I prefer to have the students produce an almost entirely independently produced piece each session.

I was a substitute teacher in the Folsom Cordova School District in California during the 2007-2008 school year. I am currently working a substitute teacher in the Flagler County, Florida School District. I have worked as an engineer for 3M, ITW, Medtronic, and Waste Management. I have two patents.
