Awesome Chemistry Tutor

My comments on tutoring Algebra : I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor's degree in Business and a minor in Math. I have been in the business world for 20 years as a Credit Analyst and use Algebra occasionally to perform my job, so I feel like I relate Algebra to the real world for any person needing help in Algebra.

My teaching style would be tailored to what each individual needs help with. I am a patient person who would teach by solving some example problems, then assigning a few similar problems for my student to solve. If he or she has trouble solving them, I will try to identify what the issue or issues are and teach them what they are doing wrong and why.
I have no formal teaching or tutoring experience other than teaching my kids. I have managed people in the work place and have been told I am a good teacher/trainer. I am considering going back to school to become a teacher, but would like to try tutoring first. I have three kids, two have graduated high school and one is in middle school so I have seen my share of bad teachers who can only teach out of a book and don't know how to relat to their students.
