A Little Bit About Me...

In my teaching style, I combine audio, visual and other modern technological equipments to enable with the understanding of French.
I am a native speaker with over 15 years of speaking, teaching French from beginners to advanced students. I am very passionate about the language and use it on a daily basis as an adjunct professor at Cecil College. I will work with the student in helping them to acquire the knowledge necessary to understand the culture of the Francophone world. In addition I have also worked as a French court interpreter for almost 5 years, helping non-english speakers with court procedings. I am personable, professional and very patient with my students.

I believe that a solid and rounded education is the foundation for any society and that education begins with an individual. This belief drives my number objective: to teach to the student. For me, it means recognizing the unique abilities and personalities of each student to properly develop and manage a learning strategy for them in order to make measurable gains. I only compare a student against his or her own self so that they realize the only measure that matters is their personal improvement.
My tutoring career began as an honors research student in college. As a graduate of Wellesley College, I continaully strived to do achieve a high level of excellence. One of my biggest regrets in life is that I didn't get a teaching certification while I was in college. It is a profession which I would truly love.
