A Little Bit About Me...

I have a hands on teaching style that mixes fun activities with an emphasis on asking children questions. I pay attention to each individual student and try to figure out what their learning style is. I try to center activities around how they learn (ie. if they are a textile learner, I'll bring in physical shapes to work on geometric problems as opposed to worksheets). I believe that application and explanation to others are the best route of learning, so I like to have kids who are at different levels work together on subjects they may have difficulties with.
