A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Wheelock College with a double major in Human Development and Elementary Education. Working with children has always been an interest of mine and something I enjoy doing. Over the past six years I have had a variety of experience teaching children of all ages. I have taught third grade, Kindergarten, and Pre-Kindergarten.
I am a determined, enthusiastic, and highly motivated person that enjoys being challenged and working with children. I take great pride in being a teacher and being part of a child’s life. My teaching style is student centered based upon their individual learning styles. I am a holistic grader who is able to reach and teach even the most difficult student, such as those who have acquired "learned helplessness". I have the wonderful ability of getting to know my students so that my lessons are based upon their interests.
I have been tutoring for 17 years for all ages and levels. I have tutored both in and out of an academic setting, both in schools and at the students home. I am highly qualified to tutor all ages and levels of math, science, english, english language, spanish, writing and SAT prep.
