My comments on tutoring Painting : I have taken a few art classes but I enjoy doing creative painting and helping others paint. Also I do have quite a few art supplies and I enjoy crafting for other people.

I have experience in many different fields, from playing piano for 9 years, flute for 7 years, being taught by an English/Writing Teacher who has taught at schools in Hawaii and has studied at tops schools in England, and so much more. I have also been an after school tutor to students wanting to learn piano, flute, and even vocal lessons. I have also been a tutor for American Sign Language studies.

During the pursuit of my degrees I worked tirelessly to excel. While in school I volunteered as a tutor for the local Boys and Girls Club. I tutored middle school and high school students in literature, math, science and history. Due to my degree in Library Science I have extensive knowledge in writing term papers and research methods.

I love working with children, when they learn something new it still gives me goose bumbs, as a teacher it is important that we focus on all learning styles, because each child learns differently. I am firm and patient. I let the child explore his or her surrodings and let them firgue things out for themselves. I am close by if they need any encourging, all children's potential can be met if they are giving a chance to see how things work and do not work, all children can succede with guidelines, and if children are taught well they can succede in whatever they put their mind to.

A Little Bit About Me...

I began taking drawing and painting classes in high school in 1983. I then went to the Art Academy of Cincinnati where I took extensive studio and art history classes. I learned drawing, painting and printmaking skills, which include: lithography, etching, mono printing, screen-printing, and relief printing. After receiving my BFA from the AAC in 1992, I continued to draw and paint. I currently create acrylic and oil paintings, mixed media collage and drawings. I have worked in various galleries and museums in Cincinnati, San Francisco and Louisville, where I gained valuable skills, knowledge and experience of the art world.
