I am a certified elementary and special education teacher with a master's degree in both elementary education and reading. Additionally, I hold certification in all three areas. When I became a teacher one of my professors taught me something that I have used in all my work. He said "teach those who learn, inspire those who will be inspired and love all the rest since you never know what will cause someone to want to learn or to be inspired". I have applied this to teaching, coaching anc consulting. in that I appraoch every situation as a teaching opportunity. In teaching I generally view problems 3 dimensionally and when explaining try to have several approaches as no one approach will fit all. I pose questions and assist with the solving of the question and ask for explanation of why the answer given was chosen.
