Creative Learning

I have always tutored informally, whether fellow classmates or nieces and nephews. My formal teaching career began as a Teaching assistant at Johns Hopkins University for a field ecology class. I continued as a guest lecturer at various universities and seminars relating to field ecology and oil spill clean-up. I have 20 years experience in field environmental remediations now, that is cleaning up oil spills. I have taught various seminars and presented academic papers at such institutions as Battelle. I do not know what my teaching style is. I have instructed large groups and had one on one learning sessions as well. I have dominated the communication time and I have been a listener.
