I've never really tutored before outside of helping my classmates, but even still I excel when it comes to teaching others tactics for reading and writing. Through my teaching style I emphasize hands-on learning by using manipulatives. I also use modeling and repetition. I believe the best way to learn something is to practice doing it yourself over and over again using various methods. Practice makes permanent!
