As a child, I entered the gifted program very young and have always tutored my peers. Tutoring led me to join the Quiz Bowl and other Academic Teams as well as led me to graduate high school early. I have recently earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and have tutored many students over the past five years in Cost Accounting, Finance, Governmental Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Marketing, and Management at the college level. I graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in communications. Throughout school, I helped many students with a variety of courses I had already taken. I have always worked very well with others and my communication minor only enhances this aspect. I am currently pursuing my masters in health care administration and human resource management. My goal in elementary school was to be a marine biologist from the first time I went to Sea World. It was not until my last semester of my undergrad that I decided to change directions for my career and enter the world of teaching. I was a lab assistant in college and tutored chemistry, organic, biology, trigonometry, etc. I draw much of my inspiration from a summer internship conducting whale research off the coast of New Hampshire.
