While in pursuit of my Masters degree, I was a writing tutor at the university's Writing Center. In this position, I worked with both undergraduate and graduate students. Upon graduation, I worked for the Institute of Reading Development where I worked with students (ages ranging from 4-years to adult) to help improve comprehension, absorption, and phonetic awareness.
I am a strong believer in the fact that all students learn in different ways and at their own pace. I am very empathetic and patient with my students. I like to consider myself "firm, yet fair" when the need may arise.
