My comments on tutoring Computer Programming : I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics and have experience teaching undergraduates and graduates.

My diverse skills and experience in mathematics, statistics, and computer programming should be advantageous in this circumstance. I have worked with mathematical software and statistical models since 1989 and love doing collaborative statistical and mathematical research to solve challenging problems. I edit the pedalogical "Light Touch" column for Optics and Photonics News and have tutored undergraduates throughout my graduate career in Physics, Optics, and higher Mathematics.
