My comments on tutoring French : I learned French in France, where I lived for three years. I attended school in French for 3 years and am fluent. Excellent speaking and writing skills. Would be able to tutor students for French classes or seeking to take the SAT II (personal score: 800), as well as those seeking to learn French for personal reasons.

I am a recent college graduate (Columbia University 2012). My experience is in languages, having studied French for 3 years and Arabic for 4 years. I have lived in both French and Arabic-speaking countries and continue to make use of French in a professional setting. People have all different manners of learning information, and most people need a lot of visuals and real life experiences, especially if their first language is not English. Teachers should be able to get to know each of their students and differentiate their instruction to help all of their students. Tutoring is a great way for teachers to get to know students better and thus better address their needs with quality instruction.
