I believe a basic knowledge of Physics and Mathematics is necessary for a Physics student who wants to further his knowledge and study a higher level course. In my teaching, I always start from the basics and build upon it. Whenever I need to give examples, I refer to daily events which happen in our real lives. This makes the subject real, practical and more understandable. Depending on the goal of a course, I can give conceptual teaching, or go deep into the Calculus of Physics. I believe a great teacher needs to have proper skills and talents for teaching. I learned a lot while growing up from a great teacher; my mother. My mother was a teacher for thirty years teaching elementary grades. I learned a great teacher needs to be respectful, patient and to be able to illustrate the lesson in an easy, simple way. I try to provide simple analogies for each concept. This enables the student to grasp the concept easier and faster. In addition I help my students to learn better by asking few questions about the concept. This will help them to truly understand the lesson by using their analytical thinking.
