I can teach in a classroom, and walk through the methods with many students. I have worked in a study hall type tutoring condition, which at times becomes a classroom teaching. I have also done personal tutoring. I can use the computer to teach math as programming a computer to solve the problems in proof that you understand the methods. I have found games to help others learn ideas like FOIL's Law for multiplying two binomials. One is applying the process to multiplying two two digit numbers: 13*13 = 169.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have helped tutor friends’ kids on math from little school to high school. I have taken math all the way up to Differential equations and feel alright tutoring up to calculus one. I do not possess documented experience from schools or other organizations. I am a very highly motivated individual that does not mind helping others. I also have experience in teaching or helping coach little league sports educating kids on how to play games correctly. I have also been an assistant coach and helped out at Clinton Community College with girl’s softball under the head coach.
I like to teach using examples, either on a board to show a person step by step first. Then try to give the student examples to try to solve themselves. If this does not work I continue to breakdown a problem until we can clearly identify where the student is having trouble.

I am very passionate about teaching and instructing young people. That is why I have spent time volunteering to teach English to children in Mexico, working as a counselor at youth camps for several years, and establishing a school outreach program for local art galleries. My desire to teach people about the arts also drove me to achieve a BA in Art Education.
