I have approximately one year of experience of professional teaching working with a grant funded program at UNCP. With this program was very hands-on and interactive with the students. I worked directly with the professors in the science department.
As a UNCP alumnus, I currently hold a BS in Biology. I have tutored peers in the past during my second year at UNCP. Subjects that I am familiar are science and math. A Little Bit About Me...

I have seven (7) years of musical experience in concert band, jazz band, marching band, orchestra, and pep band. I also have tutored through the Boys and Girls Club along with a program my college inacted for students who were hearing-impaired, mostly in the areas of math and grammar. I have also graduated in the top 10% of my class, both in high school and college. I have maintained a 3.0 GPA in both high school and college. My strengths are math and grammar.
I am patient, considerate, and able to adapt to each child's way of learning to be able to help them understand what it is that they are trying to learn. I began my college career admitted at age 17 to a competitive Bachelor of Nursing program at Boise State University. I took courses in Science, Math, Chemistry, Psychology and Health before I transferred to Brigham Young University-Idaho to pursue Horticulture. BYU-I has one of the top Horticulture programs in the country (as recognized by PLANET). I competed for BYU-I as one of the front most students in 2 years of PLANET competitions. I personally finished twelfth of all 900 students competing and helped take our team to both a 1st and 2nd place finish. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored students since my undergraduate years. I continue to give back to community through many projects. The sorority I am apart of hold many tutoring sessions to students. Also through my church we hold tutoring sessions. I have been involved in both projects for more than 5 years. I have tutored in English, elementary grade Math and Science.
