A Little Bit About Me...

I am a freshman at BYUI, studying to become a Physician's Assistant, and minoring in English. I love English, music, and history! I specialize in English mostly, as I took many AP and Honors English classes in high school. I also scored a 30 on my english ACT and a 28 on my reading ACT! I can teach music as well, for I have been playing piano for about 10 years. I love interacting with children and teaching them to the best of my ability. I know that each child is unique and you have to truly understand the child and the stresses and concerns they have with learning, before you can teach them. I am very patient, kind,and understanding. I want the child to know that he or she is capable of learning anything and will allow them to reach that potential. I have been a teacher and tutor for a few years. I taught in a high school English and Music. Right after I graduated High school I was asked to help struggling students and teach a bit when the teacher was gone. Also I have worked in Elementary schools I have taught lessons at least once a week. I have been in teaching methods classes and I have take Education psychology. I have also been able to in three months encourage students to improve grades that are at a 50% low to a 90-100% high.
I teach from the core of a person they have the inner agency to choose to succeed and they can succeed if they desire to be great they will be great.
