I love interacting with children and teaching them to the best of my ability. I know that each child is unique and you have to truly understand the child and the stresses and concerns they have with learning, before you can teach them. I am very patient, kind,and understanding. I want the child to know that he or she is capable of learning anything and will allow them to reach that potential. I received high scores on the PSAT and ACT while in high school. I can provide proof of these if necessary. I received a 31 on the ACT (I would need to verify this, but I believe it is correct). I can teach students how to prepare for any test, including the ACT, GMAT, and SAT. I graduated from BYU Idaho in the top 5% of my class. I taught an intro class for incoming freshmen for 1 credit hour. I taught a LEED test prep class with 100% pass rate for all attendees. I have done informal tutoring in math, and I have received As in all math classes up to Calculus I. I have taught dance and art classes to pre-k and elementary children.
