My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : As an author, writing is one of my strongest areas. I not only teach mechanics, such as grammar, spelling, and sentence structure, but also introduce students to various types of writing such as poetry, journal, and report writing.

I have taught for many decades and use a variety of teaching styles since all students learn differently. I am more of a 'traditional' style teacher, realizing that the basics are vital. Though my primary field is sociology, I am versed in Liberal Arts due to my experience and background.
