Hey! My names Bethy! I'm 13 years old and in 8th grade. I've been tutoring since I was in 5th grade. I can tutor all ages in almost any subject. Last year I had the highest GPA in my whole school! Working with elementary students of all ages and levels has made me believe that all children can learn if given the opportunity and the right instruction. Not everyone learns the same way, and it is our job as teachers to make sure each student gets the instruction they need. If a student does no understand something, then we have to find another way to explain it so they do. Our job is not done until the student succeeds in learning.
As a recent education graduate I am eager to begin working with students, but in the present economy, teaching job vacancies are rare. I have earned a BS in Biology with a Chemistry minor and an MS in Science Education. I also possess my Initial Educator Certificate in 7-12 Biology.
