A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently finishing my last few weeks in my Student Teaching experience at the elementary level and will receive my teaching license this summer. I have been fortunate to have worked as both a GENERAL and SPECIAL EDUCATION Instructional Assistant. I love working with students of any level and am knowledgeable and comfortable working with students with special needs (Autism Spectrum, ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Cognitive).

I would say that my style is one of direction. Helping students find answers, teaching them how to research for the answers and developing paths of choices to determine which one to take and determining the outcome of that choice or the alternatives. I feel better challenging them to use their thinking skills, their cognitive processing skills & decision making skills.
