English is one of my top subjects! From the Fall of 2008 to the summer of 2011, I worked as an English teacher in central China. I mainly am experienced with working with TEFL students. If you are an international student and need some tutoring help for your English, I would be happy to help you in any way that I can. I worked a lot in helping students with pronunciation, grammar, writing and language acquisition.

I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2008 with a degree in Music performance. During my time at Oklahoma Christian, I played bass in the jazz band, string ensemble, and several other university performances. I also studied classical and jazz guitar during my time at Oklahoma Christian University, and studied under David Brandon here in Lubbock before leaving for school in Oklahoma. During my time at Oklahoma Christian University, I took advantage of opportunities to help international students with their English. College Teacher Tutoring Math, Economics Accounting TestPrep

Teaching style varies by student and by subject, and even varies according to my level of skill in the subject matter. I have been told that I make things that are confusing or hard to understand easy, and I love that 'I see' look in a student's eyes.
As a student I was always helping my friends and brothers with their school work, especially math. While in graduate school working on my Masters degree I tutored for the athletic department and even tutored some of my classmates who were college professors working on their PhD's. I have been a college teacher for more than 5 years and started doing private tutoring over 2 years ago.

A Little Bit About Me...

To be completely honest, I have never tutored before. However, I am currently enrolled in Texas Tech University with a major in English and a minor in Education. Next Spring, I will be entering the teaching program in secondary education. My goal in life is become an English teacher and I am very well versed in areas such as writing and reading.
