My comments on tutoring Chinese : From the Fall of 2008 to the summer of 2011, I worked as an English teacher in central China. I studied Mandarin during my time there, and was able to pass the basic portion of the National HSK Chinese exam for foreigners during the winter of my second year. I achieved an intermediate level of Chinese during my teaching in China, and would love to help you get started with the basics of Mandarin Chinese.
I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2008 with a degree in Music performance. During my time at Oklahoma Christian, I played bass in the jazz band, string ensemble, and several other university performances. I also studied classical and jazz guitar during my time at Oklahoma Christian University, and studied under David Brandon here in Lubbock before leaving for school in Oklahoma.
During my time at Oklahoma Christian University, I took advantage of opportunities to help international students with their English. I also went abroad on summer internships with Let's Start Talking where I was able to assist several students from Belgium, Rwanda and South Africa with their English proficiency.
