I started at age of 8 studying classical guitar and after finished the Conservatory Music Villa Lobos (Parana-Brazil) I start to teach. I have earned two Bachelor degrees, BA in Instrument Performance (Classical Guitar) at Escola de Musica e Belas Artes do Parana (Brazil) in 1996 and BA in Theology at Florida Christian University (USA) 2002. A Little Bit About Me...

As an avid tutor I was required to follow the avid tutoring format. Before I joined the program I was unaware of what exactly this entailed. The avid program suggests groups of 5-7 students gather around a table with the avid tutor being placed at the head of the table. My job is not to tutor, but to rather facilitate the learning as students take turns proposing a tutorial question. This proved difficult because several instances I felt the need to "break" the rules in order to truly help a student. From this experience I gained my own "style" of teaching, and it is one that caters to individual needs and individual personalities in order to relate to students on a more personal level.
