A Little Bit About Me...

My experience with tutoring, employee training and working with my own two children has shown me that there are many different learning styles and paces. It is exciting to find that key for each person and watch their growth and development through learning. Up front, I believe it is important to understand the goals of the student and their family and then focus on providing the support necessary to see them achieve and exceed those goals.

I enjoy getting the student excited about what they are learning by showing them the practical and useful side of what they are being taught. As a graduate student at Bay Path College in Longmeadow, MA I have mastered the fields of finance, accounting, technical writing, and computer skills. As a paralegal, my attention to detail has allowed me to master all rules of grammar and language format. While attending undergraduate school in Colorado I tutored classmates in Spanish, Italian, and writing. I also volunteered as a law clerk and taught Greek Mythology and Sociology to middle and high-school students expelled from school and placed in the Boulder County Juvenile Justice Center.
I enjoy teaching and working with all students- elementary to college-age. I have experience tutoring and mentoring children of all ages, including special-needs children. I gain great satisfaction from knowing I am helping students succeed. Knowledge is power.
