Helping students to Become Life Long Learners

I have worked with many different ages of children as a tutor and volunteer. I worked for the America Reads program at IUPUI while I was working on my degree. I was a reading coach and was in charge of working with elementary students that struggled with reading and comprehension. I'm a graduated student from Purdue University with a BS in Speech Pathology and Audiology (SLHS). Between my time in both high school and college, my GPA never dropped below a 3.0. Both settings of education included years of math and science, and in high school four years of writing, English, and history. Volunteer work has been essential since high school, helping teachers, the elderly, disabled, and churches.
