I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science, which focused on writing and research. I earned an alternative teaching certification, which allowed me to work as an inclusion teacher at the middle school level, which allowed me to spend a great deal of time working with small groups and in one on one settings. I have taught life sciences, Earth sciences, world geography, and United States history. I also have a year's experience of tutoring beginning reading.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have twenty-nine years of experience in teaching middle and high school students. I have taught high school English, Bible, history, and speech/drama; and middle school English, Bible, science, history, speech/drama, and math through Pre-Algebra. During these years I taught multi-ethnic classes, mainly in urban areas. I also have tutored students in all of the above-listed classes plus SAT II Literature.
