My name is Shanna, I am a french native speaker.

I am a french native and I have been teaching french for 3 years.I teach privately as well as for the University of Alabama Huntsville Ollie program. I have tutored many people of all ages in french as well as in English. Because I also had to learn a new language I can sympathize with the students and help them achieve great results.

Even before attaining my degree in English from Jacksonville State University I was passionate about all forms of teaching. I have over a year of experience tutoring college students at Jacksonville State University's Academic Center for Excellence and immediately following that nearly another year of experience tutoring dyslexic youths at the Dyslexia Clinic in Oxford, AL. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored as a self-employed tutor in French, and my student was ahead of her class for the beginning of the next year. I have also weekly taught two classes at two elementary schools in French. I have been to Québec, Canada, two of the past three summers, in which I had a great immersion to a degree in the language. Also, I have done some volunteer translations for Huntsville, AL; England; and Sherbrooke, Québec. French was my minor when I received my BBA in 2009.
I am rather easy-going, and am flexible in the material that I teach. Depending on the needs of the student, I can either provide a lesson plan each session or help the student with homework. I can provide references upon request when I am hired.
