After finishing Graduate School, I immediately began working as a 7th Grade Summer School English Teacher. Along with a one month Long-Term Substitute position teaching 9th and 11th grade English and Advanced English, I was prepared to take on a full-time role. After teaching for 12 years, I decided to step away from the classroom in order to spend more time with my own two kids. I taught in both Rochester City and Brighton, with kids in grades 7-12.
