My teaching "style" is process-oriented. I first explain the fundamentals or theory, then do an example, then work through an example with the student, and finally allow the student to complete a problem on their own.
As a high school student, I had a part time job tutoring a younger high school student in mathematics and SAT preparation. This job was 4 nights a week and lasted all during my senior year. As a college student, I would frequently help friends and family with high school chemsitry in a one-on-one formal setting. I also further tutored my brother's friend in SAT preparation.
