I have had intensive training with multiple intelligence (Kagan structures) with my current employer. I use these structures during every lesson. Multiple intelligence structures focus on cooperative learning and allow for students to learn in a way that is most suitable for them. I would be glad to work with students of all ages, but I prefer to work with a student individually rather than work with students in a group. From both my experience of being an informal tutor and being tutored, I find that students general prefer this style of tutoring because the tutor can both focus and better access their student's strengths and weaknesses in the particular academic subject they are having difficulty with.
