Although I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA, I also have experience in the education field. I taught several college-level accounting courses at Midstate College as well as a semester at ICC. I have also substituted at the local grade schools and high school on a regular basis.

I enjoy teaching and coaching. As a chess coach I taught a group of 10-20 children. I have also helped coach some of my son's sports, but what I really enjoy is one-on-one teaching although my experience is mostly limited to teaching my third grade son who is very advanced and teaching accounting to a non-accountant assistant at work. I earned a BA in psychology and started a Master's program in elementary education. Due to personal circumstances, however, I was not able to complete the program.
