I began working in the school setting in February, 2002. Initially I worked as a teacher's aide in the special education (K-5) classroom environment. Shortly after, I began to tutor after-school hours for one of the special needs students. The "parent network" took off and soon I was tutoring five students per week. Throughout my education, I've found that broad academic interests have led me to pursue a wide range of subjects simultaneously. My undergraduate degree is a double major in music and comparative religion, and my other coursework ranged from astronomy to constitutional law.
